The Classic American Bandana is Back!

THE BIG BANDANA IS THE “ORIGINAL” AMERICAN BANDANA but BIGGER, THICKER and with MORE USES than a regular bandana. The Big Bandana (BB) is ready to take on your active lifestyle whether its Bikin’, Hikin’, Campin’ or Workin’ the BB has got you covered.

Project Brief:
Client: Product Source International, LLC

The Client expressed the idea that their larger bandana would be the new “go-to” modern clothing accessory. He wanted to keep the iconic red paisley color but also offer more colors. The BB needed to express multi-functional abilities to consumers.

My Art Direction:

First, I believed The Big Bandana should convey a rustic or rugged feel so I created a western design for the logo and overall package branding. Next, I wanted to convey it’s multi-functional abilities on the actual packaging to help sell its larger multi-purpose advantage compared to smaller regular bandanas. To convey multi-purpose I created some graphic designed action figures for the packaging header card.
